<P>InterShop21 is a Cooperative E-Commerce Management System, that has evolved
over a four to five year period. </P>
<P>The vision was to develop a multiple tiered cooperative marketing system that
would reduce duplication and empower the individual member businesses, by
providing cost effective access to advanced technologies using a shared
infrastructure. The concept described an infrastructure that would continue to
provide up-to-date technologies for the cooperative site owners to pass on to
the members, without the need for the organisations or their members to invest
in costly ongoing research and development. </P>
<P>The system has since set the standards for cooperative marketing and
eCommerce gateway sites, particularly those that focus on promoting tourism

database using a batch synchronisation method. The new specification also

<P>Technology: </B>Database system manages multiple businesses and multiple
sites. Operators manage content with U-Edit feature. Built-in
Reservation/Enquiry system and data logging features for each business. </P>
<P>Port Stephens (Port Stephens Council and TOPS) and Great Lakes (Great Lakes
Council) choose Midac for their Official Regional Tourism
